Multi-axis drilling machines are broadly divided into two types: adjustable and fixed.
1 Adjustable: The main structure of the multi-axis drilling machine must be composed of a gear box and a universal joint head. Since the universal joint is a movable shaft, it can move left and right within a limited range. It is not limited by gears when adjusting the processing hole distance, which is suitable for processing a variety of uncertain hole parts, and has a wide range of use. The disadvantage is that there is a lack of precision control, and the running rate is slightly higher compared to long-term use. It is suitable for enterprises with small single-piece processing volume and long-term replacement of processed parts.
2 Fixed type: Tailor-made multi-axis device according to the processing of a single piece, that is, according to the spacing and arrangement of the parts, determine the dead axis. So as to achieve a single product single axis, one piece of multi-axis device standard solution. This is the ultimate model using multi-spindles, and it is the fastest drilling machine to increase productivity. The fixed multi-axis device with guide hole plate is accurate and durable. When replacing the type parts, there is a lot of space for easy payment, and it will not be hindered by the fixture. The processed products are more powerful and the multi-axis drilling machine is more durable.
Multi-axis drilling machines are classified according to the hardness of the machined parts, and can be divided into three types: medium cutting, heavy cutting, and super heavy cutting. Medium cutting is suitable for workpieces with HB≤150, such as aluminum, magnesium and copper. Heavy cutting is suitable for soft parts with more than 10 holes or steel and iron with less than 7 holes, such as HB ≤ 265 or less. Powerful overweight cutting type is used for high hardness workpieces such as 265≤HB≤330 steel and iron.
